Wood, Nigel

Nigel was a founder member of Saxtet, and the founder of Saxtet Publications. Nigel has composed many pieces that have been performed and broadcast by notable saxophonists both in the UK and abroad. As founder of the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain, he was inspired (and required) to write numerous works for all saxes, from the tiniest Soprillo to the mighty Contrabass. He continues to write for all saxophones, and is writing more and more material for his latest project, the Bournville Clarinet Choir.
