Description

The most famous of arias from the final act of Turandot. It is sung by Calaf, il principe ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. However, any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded.

In this arrangement, the solo part can either be played by a single Tenor playing the Tenor 1 part and cues, or by a group of three Tenors, à la Pavarotti, Domingo & Carreras.
