Camille Saint-Saëns comic depictions of animals “Le Carnaval des animaux” was originally intended as a bit of fun, but has become one of his most famous and frequently performed works.  The original scoring was for Double Bass and Piano, and in this arrangement the Double Bass solo can be taken by either a Baritone Saxophone or a Bass Saxophone.
