Tweed, Andrew

About the Composer

Andy grew up in Northern Ireland where some of his first musical experiences were to learn to march and play simultaneously (he recommends this to any budding player!). Andy joined Saxtet whilst still at music college, and has seen it’s development into one of the UK’s leading saxophone groups. He is in great demand as a teacher, teaching at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Wells Cathedral school, as well as coaching on woodwind courses across Europe. Andy endorses Keilwerth saxophones.
