Rob is internationally acclaimed as one of the most distinctive and versatile saxophonists of his generation. He moves effortlessly between genres, performing as classical soloist, chamber musician, contemporary specialist and improviser, with an international reputation as an insightful and forward-thinking educator. Rob is the head of saxophone at the Royal Northern College of music, a member of the Apollo Saxophone Quartet, a solo artist and endorsee for Selmer Paris saxophones and Vandoren reeds.
