Krivokapič, Igor

Igor studied tuba at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana (Slovenia) and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston (USA).  Igor’s music has been performed internationally and has won several international composition competitions. In 1996 & 1997 Igor was a delegate at the UNESCO Rostrum of Contemporary Music in Paris. He has composed over 30 compositions: from symphonic, chamber, choral and solo music, to electronic and tape music, and ethnic projects for traditional wind music. His music is often written for unusual and even unique instrumental groups.
