Description

Inspired by Nigel Wood’s Soprillo performance at the 2006 World Saxophone Congress in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and recorded on his album Soprillogy, “Milina” uses the unexpected combination of Soprillo and Harp to evoke the “gentleness” or “peacefulness” implied by the Slovenian title.

Although originally written for Soprillo and Harp, Milina can be played by any Bb Sax with either Harp or Piano.

The E-Edition PDF bundle comes with a Bb saxophone part, the harp accompaniment, and the alternative piano accompaniment.  The Bb part included is as played by Nigel Wood on “Soprillogy”.

“Milina” is also available in hard-copy from June Emerson Wind Music.
