Description

From the composer, Dustin Kitsch:

The inspiration for “The Tailor” comes mainly from the altered scale which the majority of the tune is based on.

As I develop the music, I often think about the character of the story I’m trying to tell. In this instance, I imagine a pot bellied, balding man, toiling away into the night working on suits and dresses, getting rather frustrated with himself.
It’s hot, his fan does nothing and sweat beads on his head. Only once the garment is finished can he revel in his craftsmanship!

A big thank you to the Ecclectic Music Sax Ensemble for letting me test this tune on the group, I wouldn’t know where to be without them!
