From the composer:
The pieces are meant to be evocative of the era just before WW1 and before the empire started to collapse. Hence they contain a mixture of nostalgia, quirkiness, eccentricity and folksiness.

The PDF E-Edition comes with Bb and Eb saxophone parts and the piano accompaniment.
