Description

This rich tone-poem was composed by Gershwin following a two-week holiday in Havana in 1932.  It’s combination of Caribbean and Cuban rhythms make this an exciting and sophisticated work.
This arrangement was originally written for and premiered by the National Saxophone Choir. The percussion parts are optional, but clearly preferable!

Please note: this arrangement is an abridged version of George Gershwin’s original symphony orchestra score.
