A few words from the composer:

“I wrote my Sonata in 2016 for Victoria Samek, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating for some time now. It’s a ‘real’ sonata with two substantial outer movements (a somewhat ‘classical’ sonata Allegro and a cheerful Rondo finale) surrounding a shorter, reflective Interlude.” (2018)
