Rob Howat is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist from Liverpool, whose diverse musical output spans dance, theatre, film, and live performance. His music is defined by a strong rhythmic drive, bold melodies and has taken him to festivals and venues around the world, collaborating with an extensive range of artists and companies, including SLiDE, Levantes Dance, Beatrice Allegranti, Lost in Cult and TOAST. He is a co-director of Ichi Ni San, a company creating imaginative, interactive, multi-disciplinary dance performances for children and adults, who have partnered with a number of organisations including Sadler’s Wells, Sydney Dance Company and Ruhrtriennale.
