From the composer:
“Trentino was written for Saxophone Orchestra Manchester and came 2nd in the 2024 SOM composition competition. It is an upbeat latin tune inspired by the summer I spent in Trento for the 2024 European Saxophone Congress with the RNCM saxophone department. There are optional improvised solos for tenor 1 and alto 1 and optional drum kit and percussion parts. A solo guide sheet is provided to help less experienced players create improvised solos.”
