Hafiz R. –
An excellent addition to any Saxophone Ensemble! Even if you are not from the British Isles, the melodies in this 8 movement arrangement will sure tug at the heartstrings of both audience members and players alike. At a cursory glance, each part, melodic or harmonic line looks deceivingly simple, but one will soon quickly realize just how many different ways the music can interpreted to evoke the feelings demanded by each movement – therein lies the challenge and fun of this arrangement. Close your eyes while you perform this work, and you can really imagine yourself being there in the British Isles!
Also, an added benefit of this arrangement is how customizable it is. You can perform it in its entirety, perform just one movevement, or mix and match any way you like to fit your needs!
