Rites

Welcome to SaxHenge. Here the saxophones gather for their yearly ritual of music, dance, and jollity to celebrate the Equinox. Hear them call to each other across the misty landscape, the chanting of the basses, and the fervent dancing, before the sun rises above the horizon.

This piece can be performed with movement with the introduction being played in different areas of the space and gathering together for the unison note at letter F in the upper saxes.
