Description

Hidden amongst the Bach 48 Preludes and Fugues is this jewel, the Prelude No.4 in C# Minor (Book 1), so expressive and beautiful are the intertwining parts, that it lends itself perfectly for a Saxophone Quintet. Each player weaves through the rich melody lines, which at times can become very intense, and arrive calmly and quietly at a satisfying conclusion.
