Overture – Coming Through Slaughter was originally written for the iconic 1994 opera Coming Through Slaughter, (the Fight Music from this opera is also available through Saxtet Publications).The opera is based on Michael Ondaatje’s novel about the life of the New Orleans cornettist Buddy Bolden.
