Description

From the arranger: “Lost in the Stars” is Kurt Weill’s second most recorded song after “Mack the Knife”, and was the title song of his final complete stage work, premiered just 6 months before his death. It has been recorded by some of the world’s most acclaimed musicians including Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, Barbara Hannigan, Tony Bennett, Elvis Costello, Phil Woods and Judy Garland, whose version first introduced me to this song.
