The Antrios is based on a number of themes from my music for the first English-language production of Yasmina Reza’s play Art. Antrios is the name of the artist of a painting that causes a dramatic rift between three friends.

This is the original instrumentation of The Antrios. An alternative version for clarinet quartet is also available from Saxtet Publications.
