Orphanata is an adaptation of the piece ‘The Orphan’s Song’ originally written by the composer for saxophone and piano and he later extended the work for saxophone ensemble and re-named it Orphanata. It is dedicated to the memory of Anthony Raisbeck who never knew his parents and was raised as an orphan.
