Author and composer Rod Moulds lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He has written over eighty compositions and arrangements for diverse forces including solo, chamber and symphonic works, songs, choral compositions and opera.
Moulds' compositions show the influences of many interests and artistic movements, and are clearly built upon the musical monuments of the past. Concerts featuring his work have been produced by Industrial Arts, the Lunar Saxophone Quartet, Kintamarni, Quatuor Contraste, the Paragon Saxophone Quartet and the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain, which presented an arrangement of Moulds' Egloga during a week-long series of concerts at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Some of Moulds' compositions and arrangements are published by Saxtet Publications and during the past four years Moulds' work has been performed in several concerts throughout Britain and Europe.
