John Bleuel

John Bleuel

John Bleuel is Professor of Music at the University of West Georgia, where he teaches saxophone, conducting, and aural skills. He is a former Fulbright grant recipient, and currently serves the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars as a Fulbright grant proposal reviewer.

He has performed on the Bridge New Music Series at Lincoln Center; the Eleventh, Twelfth, Thirteenth, and Sixteenth World Saxophone Congresses, and national and regional meetings of the North American Saxophone Alliance. He has been Resident Guest Conductor of the Taipei National University of the Arts Wind Ensemble, Artist in Residence at National Chengchi University, and guest professor at three music schools in China: Shanxxi Normal University (conducting), the Central Conservatory of Beijing (saxophone), and the Sichuan Conservatory in Chengdu (saxophone). John Bleuel is a Yamaha Performing Artist.
